What seats fit?
The previous owner of my '74 F250 swapped in some ugly bucket seats. I plan to put a bench seat back in it. What model year seats will bolt into my truck with no modifications? 73-79 only, or will the 80-96 seats work as well? I was thinking that a newer seat with firmer foam would be more comfortable than the older metal spring type seats in the long run.

I guess what I need to know is what year sliders will fit my truck. I don't have a stock seat or sliders, just a cobbled up mess where the buckets are bolted to the floor (lots of washers, etc.) I just thought it might be easier to find 80+ seats than the older ones in decent condition. Will any 73-79 fit without changing sliders?
