Shorty Headers?
Do shorty headers do any good? I have a '79 Ford F-150 4spd Man Trans, and I can't find headers that would be able to run inside the frame rails... Are shorty headers worse than regular headers? Or are they better than stock manifolds? And if so how much better?

Garypettengill where did you get your headers? Who makes them? I put a 400 in my 75 4x4 and hard to find headers to fit the highboys with 400. I don't want fender exits. those look like they would fit. I want to do the same as you did single 3" exaust.
