motor mounts

Have a FE block with only two bolt that are 2 1/2 inchs apart instead of 4" Need to mount this engine in a 68 F250 2 wheel drive, First time that I have seen this. The number on the block is C4AE and standard motor mounts for the 67 thur 78 will not work. Thanks for any info or part number in advance

In 1965, Ford added two more mount bosses. You can use the later blocks in earlier vehicles without any problems. As you've discovered, you can't use the early blocks in later vehicles without modifying either the mounts, or the stands.
