first of all my 94 B3000 starts up and idles fine at first then about after 30 seconds rpm's drop and it runs rough and if i dont rev it up it dies and then if i let off the throttle it starts idling rough again and if i dont rev it up it eventually dies but after i drive it and get it warmed up it doesnt do it but does have a little roughness in the idle but not bad. i dont know if its a vaccuum problem with the brake booster because i've bled all my brakes and have plenty of fluid in it and the pedal just wont harden up and you can push the pedal to the floor, it stops but if you brake semi-fast the wheels lock up which they shouldnt with the ABS system. anyways idk if the boosters bad and with the engine cold its got a vaccuum problem or what??? maybe somebody can tell me what they think.
Sounds like 2 problems
- can't help with your roughness issue other than to say to clean your throttle body, check the ignition system (plugs, cap, rotor, wires)
- regarding your brakes - sounds like you have a bad master cylinder and you need to replace it. A bad booster won't let your pedal go to the floor.
The other thing to check is the adjustment of the rear brakes.
