What is the name of the pipe that comes from the exhaust manifold and goes to the egr valve? Is it the egr pipe?

yeah thats what we call it at the dealership, parts basic number is 9d477.

 

What is the thermactor? Is that what we're talking about here? I remember changing the exhaust and throwing a new cat in my truck, and one of the guys said that to me. I thought he was making up part names or something.

 

The thermactor system is the A.I.R. system, what he was asking was if you had a small pipe from the air/smog pump that went to the cat.
