i recently purchased a 78 f-150 custom and i wan to find out what yeaar and how big the motor is. The serial or id #is 8A31Z i hopes someone can help me out because i am waiting to order parts for it. thank you

hey chewy, I have the same truck, but forget what the actual numbers on the vin match up with on the truck. Try this website: http://www.medicine.wisc.edu/~mrm/bronco/ftvin.cgi. I think it's where I found out my info.
