Next, jack up the entire front end of the truck and grab hold and try twisting the steering linkages to determine looseness around the joints. Then do the tire thing mentioned above to determine king pin condition. Also look at the radius arm bushings, if they are original they definitely need replacement. If you are really industrious you can also replace the axle pivot bushings at the ends of your I-beams. That's just about everything until you get higher up into the other steering components.
