I posted the numbers in the 335 series engine forum, and thought maybe you would understand the numbers there. Could ya look please? And I just realized I misspelled yer name, hope you don't hold that against me...lol
Yeah, I looked over your fuel and ignition pages and the codes, and also the rest of the cal. codes. Thought maybe I had a 1980 or newer engine. But I'll give you the numbers on the right side, as this is where it is torn, but it says C 60 M R18 and maybe a number after that which I don't have, and S on the bottom, with possibly a number after that one too.
thanks, I'm falling asleep right now. It was claimed to be a 400 in the 79 bronco I got, but the vin has 351M (letter H), and the dash has woodgrain with upper vents, but no ducting to go to them, thus making me think that this whole thing was pieced together between a couple broncos or trucks. I'll check out auto zone. I mostly just want to know if it's a 400 or not without diggin thru the snow. Thanks again.

It's 9-60M-R10. That is, a 50-state light-duty 351M. Or, at any rate, that's where the valve cover came from. That number only existed for one year.
