302 to 351 swap-bad idea
in my 82 f 150 i have a 302 with a four speed manual top loader type transmission. I plan on picking up a 351 and im going to have it bored 60 over then rebuild it with new cam, pistions, etc. My quesiton is will everything else hold up or with the new motor will i tear apart everything from the trans to rearend. An off the subject question is, is that if anyone has a good box for the 80-86 body style and would sell and lives in Iowa also let me know. Thanks!

The 351 should just drop directly in place of the 302. You shouldn't have to worry about the 351 tearing up anything in the truck, unless its going to be abused. Then, you have to worry about it.
Also, don't bore the 351 .060 over unless it needs it, this is just going to make the block wear faster, and after this, it will more than likely need to be replaced at the next rebuild instead of just bored over. Also make sure when you go to pick up your 351 you get a Windsor, or Cleaveland. As a 351M will not bolt up the the 302's bellhousing.
Also another concern might be exhaust, but thats slim to little chance.
Good luck with your project.

If your tranny has a granny gear for first gear, you're set. If you have the 3 speed with overdrive, it may be too weak for a 351. Also, as deperado said, don't go .060 over unless you have to, in addition to what he said, the thinner cylinder walls will overheat the coolant easier if you work the engine hard.
