I don't know if there are any conversion kits but it is always cheaper and certainly easier to go buy a 4x4. I guess it wouldn't be cheaper if you have already paid the truck off but it will take a lot of work to put the front end in.
It really just takes time. I am going through this conversion process right now. What you have to do is go to a pick a part and find a 99+ F350 4x4. measure the positsion of the spring hangers and take them. Ford did a wonderful job on making the trucks almost identical. Your steering box is the same. You need a complete from axel, all steering linkage, 4x4 pitman arm (longer than 2wd) and spring hangers and springs. (only if you want stock height) to do a solid axel conversion.
I got my steering linkage and pitman arm for $300
Axel I am looking for, passed on a DAna 60 for $550 (kicking myself on that)
Tranny and transfercase you are on your own for, because I have a 4wd tran and transfercase attached to the 5.9 Cummins that will be resting beautifully under my hood. (saving for TWINS before conversion).
If you shopped hard, you can deffinately get it well under 10K. I won't have that much invested in mine with the diesel conversion. But my kelderman makes up for money saved
