Question trouble codes ???

My check engine light came on taday as I was driving. When I arrived home I used my edge powerchip diognostics to read codes and it tells me 2 problems 1st problem ( code # P0603) the diognostics tells me that is an Internal controll module KEEP ALIVE MEMERORY ( KAM) error. WHAT IS IT and HOW DO I FIX IT????
2nd problem code reads out P1211 and it tells me there is no database for this use internet. Anyone know what it is and how to fix it??????????

Both of those codes are caused by the tuner. The 603 is nothing, it just means the computer memory has been reset. Same thing happens when you disconnect the batteries.

The P1211 is ICP (injection control pressure) out of range. It is also caused by the tuner.

Are you running a 10k ICP mod? I tried that with my Edge & started throwing codes instantly.

I just had a similar problem with my 97 psd and could not load the edge program at all. It copied the stock settings about half way through and locked up. I ran the same diaognostic and came up with the same error(KAM). It kept coming up with lost communications trying to load the stock settings back in. Edge had to send me a stock programer for my truck so it would start again. Does this mean that my pcm has a problem and I should replace it? also idles a little rough some times.

I would guess the problem lies either in the programmer itself or a poor connection at the access port. The KAM of the PCM is the same as the KAM of the stereo reciever. All the functions are still there, you just have to reset your favorite stations.
