Has anyone heard if the 2007 Expy design will carry over to the Navigator? I do know that FoMoCo is planning an extended version of the Navigator to compete with the Caddy ESV, but I dont know when they plan to release it.
There probably is some truth to that seeing as whatever happens to the Expy, normally happens to the 'Gator. We'll have to wait and see if some spy shots develop.
Rumor has it that there is going to also be an extended navigator, but truth be told, the general body lines will stay with whatever is put on the new Ex.
I think I read in my latest truck trend that the new Nav was getting the same upgrades and the same optional EL version the expedition is getting. It may have been Autoweek, I can't remember, I get so many magazines.
Yes, from what I have heard, the 2007 Navigator body will change with the Expedition. There will be a Navigator extended* version from what I hear, to compete with the Escalade ESV. Here are the match-ups for GM and Ford:
Expedition (non-EL) aganist Tahoe
Expedition (EL) aganist Suburban
Navigator (non extended*) aganist Escalade
Navigator (extended*) aganist Escalade ESV
*Extended of course is not going to be the real name of the Navigators longer version, I just dont know what they're calling it yet.
I like the inside, the old square faced guages are kinda retro looking. They remind me of the old square gages in the Lincolns back in the 70's and 80's.
Oh boy thats not to good looking. The thing I liked best about the current style Nav was the front grill and headlight design. I do not like the redesign. They are gonna lose market share with this model.
it will grow on me its starting to look better, trust me it will grow on ya i thought the new cheeby truck w/ the chinese woman head lights were the uglyest thing on the earth but it grew on me so their not bad lookin now
