New Shoes....
I am planning to put new tires on my 97. To get rid of the empty wheel well look I am considering going from the stock tire size of 235/70 R16 to 255/70 R16 which should help fill in the wheel well some at least. According to the tire size calculator, when my odometer says 60 I will actually be doing 62.3, which I can live with. Will this tire size fit on my stock rims? How would it affect the ride and handling of the truck. I have went from stock size to 225/75 R16 in the past couple of months (tires were freebies) and the truck has ridden like crap since, it rode better with the stock tires and shocks wore out. Thanks for any comments.
