New Timing Chain
I'm currently running a 91 460 in my truck. I'm getting a pinging that sounds like the timing chain may have skipped, considering my engine has 175k miles on it. Would any double roller timing chain for a 460 work on any year of 460. Any speicifc advantages of going with a double roller? I've heard going with a 72ish chain will increase performance.... how is this so?

Never mind. Looks like they will. Did a few things of research and found a TDC 68+ one from Crane. Not looking foward to pulling everything off though. Looks like I'll be picking up a new timing cover also. Saves me cleaning, and go to a autoparts store and getting gaskets, etc.

Just to clear this up. Already bought it, but it will fit a 91 F250 EFI 460, correct? I remember hearing everyone say the EFI's needed a TDC timing chain. My timing chain currently has 150k+ miles so I needed one anyways.
