From what I have read here you pretty much treat it like any other FE block except you need to seek out an adapter for the distributor. I've never touched one of these things, but I have come to understand that the crank/rod/piston stuff is pretty much the same. Look at the FAQs. I seem to remember that there is some discussion about it.

if he is building a FT then the dizzy spacer is not needed. the crank.rods and pistons in a FT are different than a FE. the pistons are low low comp. the rods are long and the cranks are forged steel.

pistons are no longer made for them so it may be a tough find.

have not been able to locate the FT pistons in years. all the FT engines have been turned into FE's.

The 361 has a 4.05 bore and 3.50 stroke. I'd have to think you could use 352 slugs and bore the 330 block to 4.00 no? If it's been rebuilt before I'm sure it's there or over possibly. What's the 330 block bored out to now?

There's plenty of FT pistons out there. Take a look at the Silvolite 3144d, 3142d, and 3176d. The 1136 piston will fit your 330 block.

Hi guys ( thank you all ) its a stock bore now 3.78 but this block can be bore a fair bit ( C6ME-A) i did the drill bit test 13/64 fits neat , if i bore it out to 4.100 x 3.55 = 370 cui keeping the compression low still around the 8, to one so it won,t get to hot , ill get the port tidyed up to, cam ? will this work ? i tri to do my home work on this first so how am i going so far with this ?

i doubt it will take a 4.1 bore. besides why take it further than it needs?
