What i got
Five years ago I bought a recently painted 78 f150 4x4. Deer hunting, mud drags, pickup pulls and hill climbs did it in. 2 years ago I had to replace the 460 due to a burnt valve. This past fall I found a 76 3/4 ton 2wheel drive 4door. I put the 4door cab on my old chassis. Had to make new rear mts for the cab, the rest fit fine. Had to cut a box down to 5ft long to fit. Three inch lift, 33x12.50 15s, 15x10 chrome mod wheels, 460, Edelbrock carb and intake. 350 gears, could be lower but they work. Building a bigger, better 460 to compete with this summer. GOT A BUDGET AND THREE KIDS; SHOULD BE INTERESTING!!!?!

That thing sounds like it would be the perfect bear/deer rig for hunting. 4 doors and a 5 ft bed?!?! That would be perfect for slapping the dogbox into and romping through the woods of Northern WI. Sounds like you have quite the ride. Good luck with everything!
