Electrical Issues
Does anyone know if certain electircal devices like the cigarette lighter has a second inline fuse other than the fuse in the fuse box. My cigarette lighter on my 2002 Explorer is not working and the fuse in the fuse box is good. Is there another way to track down a bad plug?

Have you checked to make sure you're getting voltage to the fuse? If there is no voltage coming to the fuse, there could be a fusible link blown or a bad connection. Have you checked voltage at the wire going into the back of the lighter plug? It could be a bad plug if the wire has +12 Volts. Have you checked the ground from the plug? It may not be grounded well.
