fuel level sending unit
I have a 76 F350 supercab with dual tanks. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to remove the sending unit from the rear tank without dropping the tank. I would check myself but won't have access to the truck for a few more days. Has anyone replaced their fuel level float with a cork stopper? Had an old (read smart) mechanic tell me that was the best repair for a leaking float. I followed his advise for the sending unit in the aux (front tank) and have not had a problem for almost 6 years.
