Tire Question

Anybody running any of the military wrangler RTII. How are they wearing, how many miles, How they ride, how are they in the mud, sand etc...
Just wondering because I have a line on a set of new RTII's for $500 or shold I hold off and buy the MT version.

Thanks
Joe

I would like to know too. I like the RTIIs look better than the MT, and they are pretty cheap.

Yeah I like them better also. They remind me of TSL's. Aren't the MT's a radial and, the RTII's Bias.

I'm running the RTII's on my truck. I find them pretty good in the mud, they seem to clean out really well, but on the street they are hell until they warm up. Once warm, they ride suprisingly smoothly, I've put several thousand kilometers (i'm in Canada) on them on the highway and they wear really well. But day to day driving is pretty bad, they flat spot over night and it takes a few kilometers for them to round out and start riding smooth.

Thanks for the reply. That is what I was hoping for- someone who has actually used them. The flat spotting is typical of all bias tires. I mainly wanted to know about the mud cleaning.
