transfer swap?
i bought that 94 f350 4x4 7.3 auto that has a bad motor (although i havent picked it up yet). well i am buying a ZF to fit that motor from a 96 f350 4x4 (cause i get my external slave cylinder) and i was wondering if the transfer unbolts off of the automatic and if so will it bolt up to the ZF. if not i suppose that i would need the transfer off of the ZF. they priced it all to me with no core charge for $950. the ZF has 105,000 on it. i am supposed to get the transfer and slave cylinder with the tranny for that price, but in past experiences i know that what they SAY you get and what you actually get is two diferent stories. so incase that i dont get the transfer off the ZF will the one off the automatic fit? i have never seen a 4x4 auto for the ford so i dont know if it unbolts or not.
