Gas Gauge

Well today on the way to work I actually gained gas! I wish it was true, but it is not. Anyone know how to fix this problem? All it will show is that my tank is full, but it is only 1/2. This is on a 03 F250. Thanks

Were you parked facing uphill? Mine does this, too, then levels out after driving for a minute or two, the opposite is true if you park facing downhill.

Nope, parked on level ground, and it is stuck on full. I have turned the truck on/off several times and it stays the same.

gas or diesel? their is a high sulpher build up issue in gas sendin units,again if its gas try switchin fuel to chevron/texaco,,lower sulpher content
