Outlook questions?

I am researching the outlook monitor, and have three questions that I need help on.

1. Does the monitor have a backlight for night time driving, if so does it stay lit or do you have to push a button, what color?

If using on a 6.0 with SC tuner (tow mode only):

1. Under circumstance where it defuels the computer, does it resort to the default/stock computer files until reprogrammed, or does it only defuel while outside of your desired perameters and return to programmed mode?
(make sense?)

2. Is anyone currently using the monitor with a 1704 tuner? Comments?

3. Since this is sold as a monitor only, and not a programmer, do you remove it when returning to the service department, and if so how, the one I looked at had a wire harness with a plug coming out of it, but after installation in a pillar mount, how feasible will it be to remove it?

Any response will be appreciated!!

The backlight does stay illuminated whenever the unit is on.
The monitor defuel default setting is 1050 and is adjustable up to 1450 degrees.
The monitor as a stand alone unit (without a Bully Dog performance module or downloader) is considered a guage. Most dealers when told this won't have an issue with it.
There have been non-compatablitity issues with the SC products. BD also sells regular guages for the pyrometer, trans temp and boost.
