Has anyone come up with a better way of mounting the front licence plate on the '03 -'06 Expy? I am constantly pulling it off when I park too close to a snow bank. Most of the snow banks around here are at bumper height or above. Since the truck is so big I try to pull into a parking space as far as I can, but that ultimately results in me picking the licence plate up off the ground when I pull out, or end up driving home with the plate hanging by one screw.
really? its not legal here and i have never been bothered. if the bother you tell them it fell off the day before and you plan on getting a new one ASAP. lol
i actually got pulled over in Brentwood, CA for not having a front plate - i told the guy i had never had one from the dealer, but i still had to throw it back on and have it checked later on.
yes, and in CA they keep track of fix it tickets. The first one costs you $10.00 for an officer to sign off your ticket and the second will require a trip to the judge to explain it and may carry a fine and the reality is that the time you'll spend to see the judge alone is a significant 'silent' fine in and of itself.
yep who hasn't gotten pulled over here. they know me by first name. however being that you live in woodland hills i think you have the wrong brentwood. i am 360 miles away from you.

I knocked mine off this year and the Ford body shop put it on with fat steel rivets. The plastic ones don't survive much of a hit when it it freezing cold.
