Dunno about the banks, but I bought a 6.0 powerstroke intercooler off ebay for about 65 bucks and am getting a GTS pipe kit to intercool my truck. The whole set-up will cost me less than 700 bucks. I've heard the banks technicooler is larger than the 6.0 but not sure??............I think a intercooler from banks will cost close to 1500$$$$$

anything will fit if you want it too......

the banks would but there would be some fab work i would get the hypermax tapercore if you dont mind the money and work. but if your gonna stay with a mild injector at the most the 7.3 or 6.blow intercooler with the pipe kit or custom pipes works great.

i dont like the fact that the banks is powdercoated. powedercoating is an insulator wouldnt that be defeating the purpose of it? you ever seen a powdercoated ic on a race car?

ive got the tapercore in my 97 and its great, it was some work to get it in there but the cooling capacity of it was well worth it.

Thanks for the replys.
Powdercoating - yeah, I didn't think of that. It does reduce heat transfer.
