I'm new to Ford trucks, and I'm converting my 66 F100 to power disc brakes (and power steering). I pulled most of the power brake parts from a 74 in a junk yard, including the entire pedal assembly. Now it looks like the power brake booster is too big to fit next to my 352. While I was in the junk yard, I noticed that some of the later 70s trucks had a booster that is thicker from front to back and narrower from right to left. This narrower booster would fit much better, but I need to know if it will work with the 74 pedal assembly, or if I need a different pedal assembly as well.
