I was wondering if someone could tell me his/her opinions or experiences with roll pans. I was thinking of taking the bumper off and putting on a roll pan, but want to know two things. (1) Are they legal? Any fellow Canadians who might know this would be nice. (2) General thoughts and or pictures.
Thanks!
If no one has anything to say, I'll just go ahead and do it. I'll put pics of b4 and after, so anyone who is currious to what it will look like will know.
You can contact your local police and ask them about the bumper. If they don't know, they cant tell you who will. As far as using them, they are pretty easy to install. Consider the following when choosing....
Trailer hitch? If so, it will hang below. You can get a "hidden hitch" and a roll pan with the tag area cut out so the hitch can stick through that area, hinge the tag to fold up or down to access the hitch.
Fiberglass or metal.....personal choice of course
Bolt on or weld on (if metal)....
Exhaust....if your exhaust exits at the rear you may need to modify it to make it look correct without the bumper.
Other than that, roll pans are pretty cool and look good.....
