Delay wipers don't work
A while back the delay wipers stopped working on my 93 f-150, now they will run continuously in delay setting, stop immediately when the switch is turned of instead of returning to the base of the windshield, and will not turn off when the washer is pushed ( i have to pull the breaker to get them to stop ). I aked the dealership what it could be and was told it could be the switch, the govenor, or the motor. All of which are expensive and nonreturnable if thats not the problem. Can anyone help?

well no, sorry . . cause i have the same exact problem. they wont stop when i press the washer and if i turn it off when on normal wiping mode they just stop dead. anyone help? i am just gonna go to the junkyard to get whatever it is that needs to be replaced replaced. . . i advise the same for you wolf

I had the same problem as Felixr. I just made a toggle switch. It was like a dimmer switch kinda. Used two 4 way switches. If I completely turned them off it would give it power till it hit the exstention point on the motor. haha I ahve alot of free time. Junkyard digging is alot easier

Check the mulitfunction switch first. Its a VERY common problem on your truck.
In most cases the wipers will not work on certain speeds or they will stop working when you use the turn signal, but they can also run non stop on every speed if the switch gets really bad.
