Timing a 4.9L

I would like to check the timing.
Instruction on truck says to disconnect the spout connector.
Where is that?
I know, stupid question
Thanks

near brake master cylinder, it is grey, i think, and it is a connector that doesn't go anywhere with this plastic cover stuck in.

remove this, time engine, than replace.

get yourself a manual, it will be the best thing you could get for your truck.

Yup...pull the spout connector out, don't lose it, and check/set the timing. Afterwards, kill the mill and put the spout connector back in. If you forget the spout connector the truck will run, but not as well.
