I think that it's cooled down somewhat from the last few days because it isn't really all that bad to me - though folks here have been talking about how hot it is.
I've lived in a few hot and humid places before moving to San Diego so I can usually deal with the climate changes better than a true San Diego native
I forgot to look closely but I think it was something like $1.37/litre in Adelaide.
Any who, I'm back home now. Adelaide was nice as always, and the heat wave looks like the worst of it passed right before I got there because I thought the weather was fine the whole time.
Good to see you are back and that all is well - glad you enjoyed Adelaide.
$1.37 (US$3.89 a gallon) sounds about right, its a little less than that here at the moment, Adelaide is always a little more expensive.
In the Outback, prices push over $2.00 a litre for gas (getting close to US$6.00 a gallon), diesel is a little cheaper out there, probably closer to US$5.00 a gallon. Wonder why I sold my 8-9mpg car???
Dang, I had no idea fuel ran that amount. Surprised Daryl didn't get lost in the Outback and join a colony of kangaroos or something. Maybe he is the next Crocodile Hunter.
