Got your atention :-)

My 69 F250 project has gotten a little out of hand. I've quite a bit of time and money invested it now. It looks like I'll have a pretty good drive train after all is said and done. Now I look at the cab and all of the work it needs and wonder: Is there something sexier I could put on this frame? Has anybody ever put an older Ford body on one of these chassis? Any other transformation Ideas?

Thanks,

Greg

69 F250, 390 (RPM intake, 750 Ed Carb, Crower Power beast cam, Dynomax Ceramic coated headers, MSD ignition), C6 being rebuilt or replaced due to my screw-up on the engine reinstall, Dana 60 w/4.10s, new bushings, shocks, wheels and tires.

I used to see those ads where the owner claimed to have "over $10K invested", and I wondered , how could anybody spend that kind of money on an old pickup. Now I know. I'm not to $10K yet, but it's getting close.

I've put both a *****'s jeep pickup body, and a 1951 Ford pickup body on early 70's ford frames. if your a good welder you should have no trouble fabricating mounts or shortening the frame.

It's a little pricey ($10k at least w/ all options), and I wouldn't bother doing it to a 2wd, but here is an option:
