I have a 2000 Ford F150, 5.4! Replaced valve cover on passanger side due to bad oil leak. Now the truck won't start! It turns over fine, but nothing else! Any ideas on where I should start looking for the problem?
Okay, here is my problem. Short in wiring to crankshaft sensor, COP bad, and coolant in #6 cylinder! How can I remove the coolant without tearing down the engine? Is it possible?
You shouldbe able to pull the plug from cylinder #6, turn the car over afew times, and that should clear the coolant. This of course won't solve the problem of how the coolant got in there in the first place.
