I Posted the first photos of my truck in the gallery https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...&albumid=20242

This is how it looks now with very little work. I know it is not a 4x4 or something else special but my son and I are going to work on it and I will post pictures as it changes at least visabily.

Not a bad looking truck. Theres nothing wrong with a 2wd. You can always fix it up then find a 4wd frame for it later if you want.

A father and son project, cool. My son has made claim to 2 of my FORD Trucks. 2 wd are better in gas MPG and the ride is exceptional smoother, nice truck, headed in the right direction of restoration. Is the 32,000+ miles original, where can someone find an older Ford Truck with such low miles?

Yeah, he and I are having a great time with it already. This truck was my grandfathers and then my fathers and my mother gave it to my son. It was never used for anything but hauling stuff around the city. It might have been on the expressway a dozen times. Might be the cheepest truck listed here at no cost yet to us and not rusted through.
The engine runs well and the trans too. It has all the typical problems like the turn signal not canceling and a broken steering wheel and broked door panels. There is no rust that I can find other than the bottom of the passenger door and the tailgate is comming un-spot welded. I think a new door and a new gate and it will be ready for paint.

The truck Looks good, I love my Fords and there's nothting wrong with a 2wd. All that I have owned so far are 4wd's, but my Next one is going to be a 2wd.
Very cool ride, can't wait to see it finished.
