Defrost Tubes ???

I need to purchase or fabricate a pair of defrost tubes for my 65. This is not the hoses, I have them. I need the tubes that fit down in the dash and connect to the hoses. I can't seem to find just the tube.
has anyone ever made something that would work?

If they are round, try using heat riser tubing. It comes in silver or black and resembles the exhaust hose on your clothes dryer. I used it on my '56 sedan. A little dab of contact cement assures it will not slip off the metal duct.

You can find replacments in any 65 to 72 ford truck. the eariler 61 to 64 units will also work but are made of a pressed cardboard and thed to be fragile.

Look in BOTP, Macs or another of the vendors that support this site. The entire hose and top assembly are reproduced.
