Remote Starter Install Lock Issue
I have been working to complete the Remote Starter on my 05 SuperDuty and still can't get the locks to work. I have the older Silver Ford OEM system, and the truck has factory RKE. I have been referencing a wiring diagram from 2002, which may be my problem. I tried wiring this in before the factory relay box, and then after. No luck either way. HELP???

In this case 5wi=5 wire reverse polarity. It's a method manufacturer's use to wire in door locks. But it only matter's if you don't have keyless entry. With keyless entry you should be able to use a white/red wire for lock and black/white wire for unlock. You can find these wire's at the VSM, or in the driver's side kick panel. Try to find-out where the wiring bundle from the driver's door comes into the cabin. You should be find them in that bundle.

I did find the wires on the first plug at the VSM. The issue seems to be the relays in that box are resting at ground, unless I am mistaken. Are the switches resting at ground also? I hooked up the silver unit to those two wires and still nothing. I hate to do it, but i might have to take it in for someone to look at.
