Hi, I'm looking for help!... My Dad recently bought a previously owned Ford F-150 Coyote Edition. I think it's a 1997. Does anyone have any idea where I can locate any information about this truck? I have had no luck in my search. None of us have heard or seen this edition of the truck, so we are just curious. We bought it on "looks" alone. Thanks for any help...it is greatly appreciated.
This may have been the independent Ford dealers edition that sold the truck new. Some dealers ships do that from time to time as a sales promotion. Its just some badges usually that look good.
Thanks for that...the only thing I can tell that makes it look different from a regular F-150 edition is that is has an awesome custom looking paint job (silver, red and yellow) and it has the word Coyote stitched into the leather of the seats. Thanks again for the response...it is much appreciated.
There used to be a '92-'96 body style F-150 "Coyote" in West Union Oh. It was about a '95 I think, it was fire engine red and had a short bed with a roll pan in the back and it had a lowered stance or appeared that way. On the dash inside it had a A.J. Foyt script signature or some drag racer (I think), but the truck was a 300 6cyl with a 5spd.
It floated around for several years and various owners but I haven't seen it since probably 2002 or '03.
Thanks guys...this is way more useful than any other things I've found, which has been almost nothing. We haven't taken any pics of the truck as of yet,(we've only had it about a week) but I'll try to get some soon and post them here. Thanks again.
