4X4

I found a cheap 77 4X4, 351M 4SPD. He says the frame and underside is in good shape, is there anything else to look for on a 4X4 that would be in bad shape?

You might want to check the transfer case out. Put it in 4wd and test it out. Check all the usual stuff. Brakes, body cond., lights. Better check your window and door seals too. Try the heat and a/c to make sure they work also. Check for any major leaks around the tranny, transfer case and front and rear diff's. If everything seems solid or ok. I'd go for it.
