2100 Float and main jets question
I have found on my 352 that the 2100 carb seems to run best when the foat level is adjusted to 3/32nds from the the top of the flot bowl. the speck calls for 14 1/2 /32nd , however when I adj to that I runs like crap, seems way to lean. the carb has #55 main jets. Should I upjet a size and then retry the float bowl ? or is a high float level ok in this series of carbs ? I have a ox sensor installed and it runs 450 -550 mv at 45 on flat ground thats pretty close to 14.7 to 1 ratio.
With the high float level the engine runs pretty durn good , better then it ever did with a holley 500 ( what a mess that was.)
