4x4 vs 2x4

hi i got a 84 f150 4x4 and a 81 2wd. will the front end from the 4wd fit the 2wd.

yes everything will swap over. 80-96 f150 is the easiest 4x4 conversion.
but the 82-up frames are much stronger than the 80-81 frames.

Front and rear axle ratios must match... might have switch out the rear end as well.

they dont HAVE to match if they are close and you keep it on soft ground, but if it is over probaly .50 or .25, and you want to drive it on the road then you will have problems. Me Thinks...
