I'd tell them '71 ltd. Bring the part with you whenever possible. Sometimes with an engine swap not all the parts get swapped over. I think the parts profile for my Bronco is up to 6 different cars depending on the part.

The Transmission bolt pattern of a 302 and 351W are the same. So it could be a FMX transmission. The easiest way to tell is to do a search on the forums or even google for the name of the transmission. You should be able to run across a transmission spotter's guide to aid you in identifying the trans.
