Is it possible to take a ford superduty, take out the original motor, and put in an international 444E (Ford 7.3 PSD) or VT365 (Ford 6.0 PSD)?
Let me explain exactly what this would accomplish:
-Some people want the 7.3L still
-The VT365 has very little problems, compared to the Ford-souped-up-version
-Scrap those 2 ideas, go with the DT466 (just kidding)
The 444E and VT365 both propel buses and varios trucks and stuff, obviously lots of power for a pickup, Does the "ford" version get its high HP rating from RPM's mostly? cause if it does, theres no real benefit over the original international version except for racing around and bagging out the motor.
same motor basically. a friend regularly replaces the dt444e in his buses with the ford 7.3 psd because he can get the ford $2000 cheaper then the international. the only thing he changes are the water pump, exhaust manifolds, turbo assembly and injector pump.
