runs and shuts off

i have a 78 f250 with a 400 v8. the engine will run for roughly 15 minutes and right when it gets up to operating temperature she will stop running. this happened before and after getting the heads refurbished. has this happened to anyone and are there any ideas as to what it could be? thanks

Possibly either the ignition module, pick-up coil in the distributor or the ignition coil. I would check them in that order.

If the coil checks out then maybe look at fuel delivery. Check to make sure your'e not getting a plug there. I had a problem with my 76. I could only run the top 1/4 tank off then it would die. It turned out to be my fuel tank was rusty inside an plugging my pickup screen and starving the motor off.
