Oil Filter Socket Size - Please help!

Hey everybody! I'm sure someone has asked this before, but I couldn't find it using the search function. Can someone tell me what size socket I need to remove the oil filter cap on my '06 6.0 PSD? When I changed the oil I used a crescent wrench, but of course this doesn't let me torque it and I want to be able to do this right. Thanks again.

I believe my 04' takes the 36mm too with a rag, or towel inserted to snug it abit, also keeps from marring the plastic. Beware, o-ring will seal with little torque. Be careful not to overtighten. I just snug mine down. Havn't had any problems/leaks!
