I have a 1975 F-250 HighBoy that is a loyal word horse. Thus not one strait peace of sheet metal on it. so i have begain the process of trimming off 4in all around. what is the largest tire that will fit with out any rubbing? Also what do you recomend to do on the edge of the fenders to take the edge off?
Im guessing that with a good 4 inches of fender trimming you can stuff 38s in a hi-boy, since they'll work with a 4" lift. I've used those flexible plastic strips used for edging (its U shape slips right over the edges) with good luck. I just glue them on. If you wanted to get trick you could take it to a bodyman and have those edges rolled. Make sure you use something good like a sawzall to cut those fenders, they can get messy.
If your knuckles ain't bleeding you did something wrong.
