Cruise control question
The cruise control in my 88 F-150 quit working shortly after I had the steering wheel off. Horn works, so I know the fuses are good, plus I checked them. I pulled the horn pad off to check voltages. With the key off I get 12.57 volts on one contact and nothing on the other contact. With the key to accessory I get the same 12.57 volts and 7.49 volts on the other connector. Is this right? When I had the steering wheel off I noticed that one brush was flat and the other brush was stepped. Is this also normal?
