I am having fuel pressure issues I think. I have installed a transparent filter in my fuel line between the pump and the carb. when I first start it the filter remains full. then after it starts to warm up it is like air bubbles in the filter and the fuel drops out for a few seconds then you can see it start spitting fuel into the filter then if fills up again?? and this keeps cycling. I find that if I nail it during one of the "dry spots" it stalls out like it is out of gas? then once the filter fills up again seems fine.....
wierdness at its best.... all new fuel lines and carter electric fuel pump to boot? advice thoughts considerations? it is not a life and death thing. it has never left me stranded and this is only my toy so just looking for info....
Blow air back into your tank through your line to your fuel pump. It could be blockage in your tank, or your Vent. Make sure that your tank vent is clear. Try your test with the filler cap off.
been there done all of the above.... seems a little better now that I have it running cooler. but still inconsistent level in the filter.....could the float in the carb be acting wierd... sticking closed then suddenly dropping open? not sure never seen anything like it.
