'97 Ford F150-- Stereo (not factory) was making a crackling noise, pulled it out and there is water in it. Is there a heater hose or something in that area that could be leaking? No other signs of fluid.
Welcome to the site Laurielala! You've found the best there is and a bunch of really helpful and fun people to chat with. There's forums for just about everything...including just plain old bs-ing. Explore all the forums, read the READ FIRSTS in each and make this place a habit, like the rest of us.
I'd go down and check out the tech forums....scroll down the list.. there are forums down there that I KNOW someone can help you in. Lots of our folks here hang out in their favorite forums, because they have expertise in that area. There's electrical, radio , aftermarket, body....you name it, you'll find it. Good luck and come back often.
I don't think so, but we will double check. We are going to pull the stereo out again this weekend and get a good light in there and check around. Thanks for the reply.
