Jeff or Polarbear could you help me with this. This truck has 11,500 miles and just wondering if I should check it out or not. Basically I would like to know any history with the truck and any options there are. The website calls it a 05' XLT CC short bed 5.4L. The picture show the truck with leather seats and such. Check it out yourself if you wish.
What woudl you guys sell this truck for?

My 'OASIS is down, but that's definitely a Lariat (look at the Wheel Opening Moldings and the Auto Climate Control. What's it worth? With the 5.4, I don't have a clue- that motor hurts it. We haven't sold a new 5.4 like that in a few years, much less a used one. If it was a PSD, I'd say $35ish or a little more, on a wholesale level. Sooo.... we'd be down to about $29,000 on a gas version. My gut feeling is, as a trade-in-value, $25-27 out here. Remember, we're always waaay higher than the rest of the country.

I have another one for you guys. This is a F-350 with 16500 miles. Is there anything in its OASIS history?

2005 F-350 Crew Cab XLT V10 is $25925
Is it realistic to pay $750 over trade in value? If so, I am going to really consider on of these two trucks.

Sold 5/21/05. Shows two warranty claims, one for steering gear/alignment, another for repainting pass front door.
re: $750 over trade-in. Is it realistic? Halfway between trade-in and retail is more realistic. Used don't get typically transacted for a few hundred dollars profit- that's the new car business.
Used is another ballgame. The other thing to remember is a used unit generally generates expenses from the time it lands to the time it hits the lot- (service, detail, recon, etc). He's asking $33995 for the one truck- I doubt he built $8000 profit into that price.
