Please tell me you guys have seen the F250 Super Chief Concept from the Detroit auto show. It is INSANE!! it looks like a choped version of an F150 Supercrew cab on this cartoony but seriously mean looking bed and hood combo!! BUILD IT!
I think it looks like crap. Keep the F250 and up trucks made for work. Add the leather, King Ranch, nice stuff if you want, but keep it a work truck first. Big, easy to get into doors, tall roof, deep bed. That's just my opinion though.
I can remember going through several body style changes in my life time, 55 years, and each time it happened, I always like the current body style better than the newest body style. Almost everyone is resistant to change, regardless of what it is, we just feel comfortable with familiarity. Then it grows on you.
People, that is a concept vehicle. You would never see those options in production. No suicide doors, no fancy wood flooring, no fine furniture-grade leather seats (at least not of those design). I was commenting more so on the exterior design, the grille/front end structure, the chopped cabin, the tall (but albiet short bed). I think that is an excellent design trend for the Super duties to take, being that they need to look the part like that.
Strip-away the glass roof, the walnut & some other goodies and you're looking at the next F250, boys. The front end is a little heavy-handed, but otherwise I like the basic shape of the truck. Bring it on.
Kinda looks like they're trying to bring back the "box style" trucks of the late 50's. Just my personaly opinion though, i'll take my '57 over that any day.

I disagree with you on one thing. Leather and stuff like that, should not be kept for a work truck. Keep stuff like that for the show, or driver truck!
