Whats the deal every year since 03 I hear ford is going to can the excursion but every year its still in the lineup and redesigned like the new trucks so is the excursion going to be discontined or not?
Two long for my taste. I'd just go buy a super duty pick up. IMO someone wants a suv, they should bring back the Bronco, everything else should just be pickups, my opinion. I say, good riddens. Now if they build a longer one, thats just silly, factory built limos for the masses. Oh how Mr. Fords dream has changed.
To me,,,It's too bad they stopped producing Excursions,,Bigger families need a bigger vehicle, that they can load up, hop in and go, snow/rain towing,,whatever. The other day I did see a newer one,,New grille style, white in color, go bye my job,,,looked nice, diesel,,oh well.
With the Excursion you had a nice $10,000 profit for Ford, plus, it hurt Chevy. But, it did not sell well. So, it was probably more a Chevy killer then anything else.
