Door panel removal

How does one get the door panel off? I removed the 2 bolts where the door open handle is, then I removed the 2 screws along the bottom edge of the panel. Is it just held on with the pressure clips?
Thanks
Rich

I have an STX and when I did my Power Window Conversion I had to remove the Window Crank also. But I am going to assume that that you have power windows on this and hopefully this helps...

1)Remove the screws holding in the Door Handle
2)Remove the screws on the lower edge of the door
3)Pry off the speaker cover and remove the front speaker
4)Grab the door and lift up and out

There are no pressure clips from what I can remember.

Hope this helps

Thanks dude, yes I do have an XLT. I want to put my new speakers in the doors, so by the way it sounds, all I have to do, is pry off that grill, without having to take the entire door panel off....right?

Yes...for the front door Speaker change is simple...just gently pry off the cover and go at it...If you have the adapter plugs for the speakers then you will be looking a time frame of...

5 Minutes/Speaker Plus don't forget to factor in the 1Minute/Beer ....My speaker change took 2 weeks

at the base where it bolts on, pop the cover off that hides the retaining screw
